Honestly if you ever asked me to go to a musical or play, i’d say no then leave the room,
but for the Green Day’s American Idiot Musical , i’ll make an exceptio. The reason being
I will probably only see one musical in my life which is this one because I am a 100%
Green Day fanatic. Now probably alot of you are saying that I must be stupid to like Green
Day because they were one of the best Punk bands and then turned into a political band.
Well even though theeir early work was more rebel like and very great, I still believe their
new songs have really got alot more fans because they have gone to a more lighter side
like with their songs Last Night on Earth or Good Ridance Time of Your Life, they still maintain
their punk side with songs like East Jesus Nowhere or Know Your Enemy. If you watched the
2010 Grammys you got a sneak preview of the musical. The cast and Green Day performed 21
Guns. Although I would have like to have heard Green Day more it was still a kick ass performance.
Green Day also won the Grammy for the best Rock Album of the Year Award. I was very happy.
So I am definetly anxious to see this play and when I do, you can count on me reviewing on the
web. Oh yeah P.S. I think Good Ridance Time of Your Life is the fricken greatest song ever.
