Time To Plan The Party

December 22, 2009

Well it is almost Christmas and it is that time of year for christmas parties. In this
newest installment of my blog I will give you some tips and hints that you
can include in your party.

presents
The one thing you will absolutely need are presents. You dont want to go to a Christmas
party without presents or you will be mauled by everyone including the children who
are expecting presents. Always make sure its what the kid want’s or else you my
get the poor sad expression that they didnt get what thet wanted. Trust me
I have been there a few times but I keep my chin up and play it cool.

Now I have an idea that is used at all the Christmas parties at my house. It’s called Secret Santa.
Now the original Secret Santa is that you have to get a gift for a specific person, but ours is a
little tweeked. Instead of giving people gifts directly. For each person who is playing in the game
has got to put a gift in the middle of the floor. Now we all pick a number from a hat which decides
who goes first and who goes last. Then the person who is up picks a gift from the middle. Then the
next person can either pick a new gift or steal the othe person’s gift.

boos
Another thing that is a dire need is the drinks. Nothing makes a good Christmas Party
like boos do. If you didn’t bring boos my uncle would go insane and leave because
he needs his holiday boos. So make sure to bring some drinks to the party. Maybe
when the kids go to sleep leave a shot of vodka for jolly Saint Nick.

Grab Bag
A new thing we have done for my Christmas parties was include the famous Grab Bags.
I think this would be a very good idea for you party and for the kids. We had a limit
though on how much we would spend for each gift, it had to be 5 dollars at the most.
We use garbage bags so people cant see the shape or form of the gifts and just choose at
random.

Well those are pretty much my key ideas to ensure a great party for all of you Christmas
celebraters. Try to use my tips and see how they work for you.
